- 2 large cucumbers thinly sliced
- 1/2 small red onion thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh dill chopped
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a large bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, sliced red onions, and chopped dill.
In a small bowl, whisk together the white wine vinegar, olive oil, and sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the vinegar and oil mixture over the cucumber mixture and toss to combine well.
Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Toss again lightly just before serving.
